This forming process presses rubber under high pressure on top of flat aluminum
sheet metal parts, forming the metal over a male form die (i.e. Hydro Form Block
- HFB) usually in a Hydraulic Press. We use a rubber box
attached to the head of a drop hammer to apply the forming pressure. This
process in also known as impact forming.
